An Introduction to the Online Academic Study Skills Course
This online course is aimed at all students who intend to commence academic studies, whether it be at diploma (level 5) or degree (Level 6) level. The course will review existing skills and enable you to develop these further and equip you for your forthcoming training or academic course. Whether you are a student, teacher or business person academic writing skills are necessary in today's world. Essays, reports, presentations and research papers are just some examples of documents written in the academic study skills course.

Students are guaranteed a high level of personal attention and tutorial support throughout the course, whilst developing formal academic styles and understand different types of essays. Students will develop the ability to paraphrase, learn how to avoid plagiarism and use reference systems correctly.
This twelve-week course can be commenced at a date that suits the student. However a two week period between application and commencement of the course is required to process the application.

The course fee is £360.00
The course fee will include the 12 week study course supported by a programme workbook, access to a secure website holding supporting webpages, presentations and video lectures which can be viewed at the students convenience and as many times as desired during the 12 week course. Each student is provided with a username and password to a secure website for the duration of the 12 week course.
